“In the Medicine Wheel, the Sun is symbol of vision, spirit, and enlightenment. The Sun reminds us that even after the hardest lessons in life, it’s important to live the vision, not for just ourselves but for all our relations.”
“I woke up one morning and seen the most awe-inspiring sunrise! With deep orange and golds, the sky illuminated the earth and all of creation. It was so beautiful. I described the emotions I felt and visualized the images I wrote in this song. This song inspires hope and invites listeners’ to see ahead through the eyes of an eagle and see what it means to have vision. “
“The song is fun, inspiring and most definitely rockin’! I am so excited to release and drop this single. It’s a great introduction to who I am, as an Artist and is going to leave a lasting impression. The Sun is on the Rise, is coming in hot this summer.”
Bobbi-Jo Starr's debut single is sponsored and made possible by her band and home community of Peerless Trout First Nation, located in Treaty 8 Territory in northern Alberta. “I am so grateful Peerless Trout First Nation believed I had the potential to do well in music, and they were more than willing to help lift me up when I asked for support to take my music to the next level.”
